What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness, and when used effectively can be used to treat an individual who wants to change mental or physical functions. It moves the individuals’ mind from the conscious state to a trance-like state within the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind has a heightened state of concentration which makes the individual more susceptible to posthypnotic suggestion as they are more receptive to therapy. Hypnotherapy uses positive suggestion to bring about subconscious change to a persons’ thoughts, feelings and behaviour. Teaching the brain new beliefs and behaviours that allow a person to make the change they want in their lives.
We follow a standard pattern of hypnotherapy methods, induction, therapy and re-orientation.
